A woman on Long Island has been reunited with her family two days after police found her, according to officials. 

Yvonne Rodriguez, age 61, was found first as an unidentified woman by Nassau County Police in Lawrence on Sunday, June 25. 

She was identified a day later, but police continued to ask the community for assistance getting in contact with Rodriguez's family. 

No additional information was released regarding Rodriguez's family or her condition.

Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating the family of a newly-identified woman who was found on Long Island.

On Sunday, June 25, Nassau County Police reported that an unidentified woman was found in Lawrence at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Now identified as 61-year-old Yvonne Rodriguez, she is described as being 5-foot-7, 130 pounds

She has brown curly hair and brown eyes and was found wearing a black long-sleeve sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and tan sneakers.

Though Rodriguez has been identified, police are still searching for the woman’s family contact information.
